Lost in Translation is bang on in Tokyo, where I spent a week at the mercy of my Gonzo Accountant. Unlike other global cities, not too many people speak English in Tokyo, so language was a real a barrier (hence the lack of born and bred locals). Still, that never stopped anyone getting inspired.
