Snake Alley

Once the domain of shysters and whores, Taipei's Snake Alley offers a tourist market, sex shops, and restaurants offering serpentine delicacies. Try the snake soup, or drink the juice of snake gall bladder. Seriously. It's good for your skin, don't you know. Snakes, like this cobra, are kept in cages, until they're skinned, split and served up. Creepy old guy had fun throwing creepier cobras in our direction. Oh joy.
