Hammer and Sickle - Laos

I love this shot because it so reminds me of Laos, and I love Laos. Wherever you go, children give you a friendly, unusually sincere "sabadee!" greeting. And despite the US bombing campaign in the 1960's, the communist flag flies proudly.
