Church in Santiago

After visiting the local idol that protects the village of Santiago (on the shores of Atitlan) we learnt how over 2000 families were buried in a mud slide here last year, and how hundreds of locals were massacred during the civil war, including the American priest. I dunno, maybe they should look into a new idol...
