Rain delays play in Kota Bharu, where the monsoon season and Ramadan combine for an isolating, yet culturally rich and delicious experience. Next is Kuala Terengganu and a gorgeous forest lake with islands, waterfalls and gi-ants. Turtle eggs, massage chairs, birds cages and temples make an appearance too. Before leaving India, there was one last adventure. Considering what it took to get to the Taj Mahal, allow me the indulgence of a few sunset shots. To Malaysia then, with Kuala Lumpur’s Bladerunner-ish Petrona Towers, and later the tropical fruit, bugs and beaches of Penang. Finally, I learn that Buddha truly comes in many forms.
