For those interested in what kind of gear I use, I decided to create this handy little section. I've also thrown in some useful links, special thankyous to the people who make this
all possible, and the occasional bad joke just to keep things lively. Remember, there are of course two ways of clothing oneself: Stay in the same place and change clothes every day, or wear the same
clothes and change places everyday.

Special thanks to Keen, who sponsor my feet. Without them, I'd be unable to get very far at all.

Sandals: Keen Zerraports and Daytonas
Slops: New Caledonian foot paddles, sent via mail by Phillipe on the paradise island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific. Merci!

Backpacks
After 70-odd countries and years of faithful service, it was time to retire my old Karrimor. It couldn't, carry, any, more.
I looked high and low and the best pack I found was undoubtedly a Tatonka Globe Trekker. Sweet day packs too.
Equipment:
Olympus E420. I did it, I went SLR. Never thought I would, but got to admit, this 10 megapixel baby takes
some pretty sweet shots. Plus it's the smallest SLR on the market. Olympus, being the kind souls they are, also provided me
with a shock proof, waterproof 850SW for those tighter moments. Bless them!
Apple G4 iBook - it lasted 36 countries and 3 years, and then
decided to FRY right before a presentation in Waterloo, Ontario. Call
me Napolean Roamapart. Dear Apple, please help!
Note: Apple never returned a phone call, nor replied to an email or letter.
So I put myself in debt and bought a new Macbook. New out the box, I hear a noise. Defective! I take it back, get another one. Hear the noise. Defective! Second switch.
Regardless of all this, I still love my Mac, but I'm just saying....
Apple 60GB iPod
(full to the brink)
500MB Lexar Jumpdrive crashed, permanently, after 12 months.
The 250MB Lexar I had before did the same after five months. Just
saying....
