Alternative Apparel - light, thin, organic cotton shirts and hoodies. Feels like you’ve stepped into the life of George Clooney (who is also a fan of AA).
Sugoi merino wool shirts are light, soft, and quick to dry.

Oooh…
You got to know I put my sunglasses through the tumble dryer of travel hell, so its important they look good and be robust. Special thanks to Ryders Eyewear for letting me wear my sunglasses at night.
All Crumpler, all the way. You might have recognized the funky logo before the name, but apparently this Aussie-based company test their gear by dragging them behind cars! Naturally, they’re rugged and full of bells and whistles. I use The Free Standing Edwardian (a real head turner) as luggage, The Maurice (ooh la la) as side bag, and the Beer Back as my day pack. For road warriors, having the right bag is priceless.

After 70-odd countries and years of faithful service, it was time to retire my old Karrimor. It couldn’t, carry, any, more. I looked high and low and the best pack I found was undoubtedly a Tatonka Globe Trekker. Sweet day packs too.
. I’ve upgraded to a Panasonic G1 digital SLR, which is light, versatile, easy to use and takes some great photos (as you can see). I’m also using a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 as a point and shoot, and for its amazing HD-video function. This puppy is taking some seriously fantastic photos, and the video is extraordinary!
It lasted 36 countries and 3 years, and then decided to FRY right before a presentation in Waterloo, Ontario. Call me Napoleon Roamapart. Dear Apple, please help!
Note: Apple never returned a phone call, nor replied to an email or letter. So I put myself in debt and bought a new Macbook. New out the box, I hear a noise. Defective! I take it back, get another one. Hear the noise. Defective! Second switch. Regardless of all this, I still love my Mac, but I’m just saying….
(full to the brink) 500MB Lexar Jumpdrive crashed, permanently, after 12 months. The 250MB Lexar I had before did the same after five months. Just saying….
